The books are doing very well – Sneaky Parenting has even got a Korean edition. Fascinating to see your name in print in a totally different alphabet! I am hoping for some exciting news regarding new book projects very soon.

I am also very near to completing my qualifications as a professional coach – I will be specialising in parent coaching and youth coaching. I have some fantastic clients already who are all proving to me just how incredibly effective coaching can be in transforming lives. As well as this, I am working with national charity Family Lives (formerly ParentlinePlus) helping parents and families through its fantastic helpline.

And, just for good measure, I am now working as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, teaching journlalism, and as a tutor for CTJT, an independent journalism training company which offers fantastic e-courses for both National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) subjects and lots of other very exciting areas of writing. Working with journo legend Cleland Thom is both enlightening and very rewarding!

So – a busy year coming up. It’s going to be a good one. Watch this space for my new logo and brand, and revamped website.

I am also gaining my qualifications to be a professional life and parenting coach too – a very exciting venture, to be able to help and encourage parents and young people to live their dreams and achieve their goals. I am already gaining a taste of this, as I am doing some work with national charity ParentlinePlus on their 24-hour helpline.

In addition, I am working with the very lovely Cleland Thom of CTJT, who knows all there is to know about the journalism industry, and for whose students I am acting as a writing and journalism tutor.

And (just in case I wasn’t quite busy enough!) I have also teamed up with the inspirational Barefoot Books, acting as an Ambassador to sell their unique and beautiful children’s books.

So, with my daughter back to school tomorrow, it’s a new term and back to business with a vengeance! Can’t wait.

Other exciting news is that The Baby Sleep Bible is out this month (September 15th). I have some advance copies and it looks fantastic – thanks again to all the bleary-eyed parents who contributed, and to midwife Sara Warren who provided her excellent advice.
